Hello!

Does anyone know if the car charger for a Nokia 6360 will work with the
Verizon Nokia 3589i?

I want to run screaming from AT&T's horrible service and go to Verizon. My
wife likes the 3589i and she already has the 6360 plus accessories. Too bad
the phones don't have identical bodies...I have the car kit for the 6360.

Yes, the charger for a 6360 will work with the 3589i.

Unfortunately none of the 6360 accessories will work with the 3589i
except for the charger. The car kit definitely will not work.

What's the problem with AT&T?

The problem with AT&T? I don't have time to go into it in detail, but a
quick summary would be 1) Horrible service, 2) even worse "customer service"
(I quote those words because they should not be used in the same sentence
when describing their "service." 3) AT&T doesn't give a rat's ass about its
current cutsomers: the Sprint commercials showing the new kid getting the
brand-new paint set, etc, are exactly how AT&T has treated me for five
years. 4) I've had enough with unconcerned, rude, and/or completely
incompetent tech support.

Need I say more?

As per our info, we should function.

Rem: if you will need any software for data synchronization between
6360 and 3589i, we can suggest to have a look at Oxygen Phone Manager
II ( http://www.opm-2.com/ ). Our software supports the both phones.
You can even connect them parallely.

I asked about synchronizing the phone books in my 6360 and 3589i in OPM2 and
was told that it couldn't be done. Is this a new feature that I don't know
about?

You can do it, indeed. Our software support the both phones in latest
version 2.4.1.1. You can test it with our official trial version (
http://www.opm-2.com/download/opm2.zip ). You can connection Nokia
3589i by official Nokia DKU-5 cable and 6360 by infrared or DLR-3
(DLR-3p) serial cable.

If you wish to transfer phonebook from one phone to another, you
should do the following steps:

1) Connect first phone
2) Go to 'Phonebook' section on 'Phone explorer' panel and press 'read
from phone' button on upper toolbar in right part of main working
window of the program
3) Select contacts, you wish to transfer, in the right part (you can
use standard 'Shift' and 'Ctrl' keys for selecting group of contacts)
4) Connect the second phone
5) Read phonebook from the second phone
6) In first phone's section right-click once on any contact, among
selected, and choose 'Copy' -> 'Copy to phone' - this will transfer
all of your selected contacts to the second phone. Now, just, upload
phonebook to the second phone and that's it!

Trial version enables to upload only one phonebook contact per
program's session.

looking for a more automated synchronization process, but the copying will
