Not according to RIM's Blackberry expert I talked to, but then she did not
know how T-mobile would unlock it either ...or wouldn't say anyway. There
are many unlocked Blackberry's for sale out there and my local AT&T dealer
unlocks them all the time for $250 for overseas usage.
