I've had a couple of items from them in the past. One was a case for
T28 that was poor quality. I just put that down to experience and
threw it in the scap box.

If I return anthing I always make a point of using a method that gives
proof of delivery, IE "Signed for" or "Special Delivery". That way you
can prove it got returned within 7 days so you are still within the
terms of the "distance selling regulations". If the item is defective
then you should be able to claim back your postage costs too.

Did you pay by CC? If so give them a hard time too, they might act on
your behalf.
