My SE V800 is 18months old and has started to be difficult to switch on and
then after a short period of use, shuts down with seemingly random key
presses. It's not the battrey as I've swapped with its twin. Anyone else had
this problem?

I took the memory stick and the sim out (used my old phone) for five days
and left the battery out.

plugged it all back in and it seems to be working!

oh well...
