Hi

I currently use Nokia 6230i and the "killer feature" for me, is I set a
calender entry in organizer, with a reminder alarm. The alarm sounds at a
time when it isn't convenient to action the task, so I remove phone from
pocket, and press "Snooze" (pospone on my older Nokia phone) and the alarm
sounds again after 10 minutes. Often I "Snooze" the alarm 5 or 6 times,
before I am able to action the task it is reminding me to do.

My collegue has a W810i that he thinks is "the bees knees", but I have tried
to find this feature, but can't. I do like the W810i so would buy a K800i,
if it had this "snooze" feature.

Does any body know if it has, or does any other Sony Ericsson phone?

You can set an alarm in the calendar, and when it goes off, you have the
opportunity to reschedule the event, but that requires quite a few key
presses, so it's not a single "snooze" button.
You might also use the "Tasks" function, which also has an alarm function.
That one offers you the possibility to "snooze" with only a few key presses
(3 I think) where you can select various snooze intervals, e.g. 5 minutes,
10 minuter, etc. or enter an own value manually.
The K800 can handle up to 5 different alarms, which individually can be
scheduled for re-occurrence, its unique alarm signal and its own message
text. That one also offers a snooze function, which is more direct. IMHO it
is almost too easy to put it in snooze instead of turning it off, since the
snooze is the same key as the confirm key (left), i.e. you press the left
key twice and turn off requires you to first press the left key and then the
right key. Better than my old SH888 though, where you had to enter the SIM
PIN code to turn the alarm off instead of going into snooze, if the phone
was switched off. You really had to be awake then ;-)

So, yes, if that's your killer app, go for the k800. It's a nic phone, I've
had mine for about twoo weeks by now, and it's a great phone. the email
client does not work with an SMTP server that does not require user
authentification though, and that disturbs me a little, since my internet
provider has such an SMTP server. You might also consider the Nokia N80, it
has a bigger display with higher resolution, and it also has WLAN
integrated, and the web browser is much more powerful. It also has the
capability of displaying MS Word and Adobe PDF docs. It is somewhat bigger
physically, and the battery stamnia sucks, it has to be recharged every
night. I'm not sure either about how long the slide mechanism for the
keyboard will function.
