Default standard serial cable with a nokia ohone

Hello, please anybody know if nokia 6510 could be connnected to a computer
using a normal serial cable, instead of a nokia fbus or mbus?
I'd like to drive a nokia 6510 using a simple termianl emulator, instead of
nokia software.
Thanks,
Alberto.

Only Infrared connection is available is a standard interface for this phone. If you have only Serial port on your PC, you can try Tekram IR-210B model- it connects via 9-pin COM port to the PC.
