Hi,
I have my nokia connected to the pc via data cable + oxygen software. All working fine (backed up data/numbers etc)! I want to add a java game to my 7250 and have both the .jar and .jad files. How do I get them into the java games folder ? is it a case of drag and drop or do I need to combine them somehow first ? What throws me is that the games triple pop/bounce have just one file showing for each of them in the Oxygen window. Don't want to damage my phone as I only got it on Friday so I thought I'd ask the question before I had a go ! Thanks Rgds Rich |

You need normally only the jar. This jar file is an folder and contains sub folder and many files (*.class and others). You connect your phone with the nokia suit, go to the menue "extras" and choose "device specific software installation" (note: this is a german translation, could be various at other languages). Now you get a window. Firste you set the small field below to *.jar files and than you have a look to the explorer. Now choose the right folder with the desired jar file. Choose ok and the installation starts. Thats all. Finally: If you have not a *.jar file as a Java Game, it could be, you have unzipped this jar file to the single files. Go to the main folder and rename from *.zip to *.jar. Thats it. > > |
