Hi,
Is it possible to program the phone to go directly to voice mail, without delay, ringing, or "please hold while the nextel subscriber you are trying to reach is located"? I have an alternate number on the phone, for those people who I would prefer to call back at my convenience. I don't answer it, I use this number as a pager, and am trying to figure out how to make it act more like one. Thanks for any help. |

The 2nd line actually shares the voicemail with
the primary number. What you suggest is precisely what I am trying to do, I think. It gets to the voicemail after 3-5 rings, or sometimes it doesn't ring and the recording says, "please hold while the Nextel subscriber you are trying to reach is located". I called tech support to see if they could do something from their end to make calls to that number only go directly to voicemail, without affecting the other number. I was told that the number of rings before can be extended, but not decreased or eliminated altogether. I don't understand that, I guess that's why I don't work for tech support. Is there some kind of programming/setting I can change from the phone to do this? suggestion - works like a charm. Ci wrote: > The 2nd line actually shares the voicemail with the primary number. What > you suggest is precisely what I am trying to do, I think.
