I've no idea what people in uk.telelcom do but in most newsgroups,
reposting spam with the headers and spam address intact is considered
as bad as spamming yourself.

No, the principle and idea is that it discusses its TOPIC, not
whatever some joker happens to want to witter on about.

For what its worth, this is covered by nettiquette guidelines. My
personal opinion is neither here nor there. Not that you;ll take the
slightest bit of notice.
