Do they make hard shell cases for cell phones, like they do for eye
glasses? I had my pistol in my purse today and it was pressing against the
cell phone though the compartment dividers of the purse, and was turning
the phone lights on. Not good.

I need a little hard shell cell phone case that can keep the buttons from
being pushed by other stuff in my purse.

yes nokia has a case eye glass type case for your phone

Go into any AT&T Wireless store and they have them. They are a Nokia original
item.

Alternatly, mall kiosks sometimes have knock off's. OR, like a freind of mine,
he went to a glasses store and picked up a glases case for about $5.

A guy in one of the stores helped me solve the problem today without
spending any money. He showed me that if I push Menu-* it locks the
keyboard until I push it again to unlock it, so it won't accidentally turn
on all the lights in my purse. Cool!

Okay, that's called, read your owner's manual and learn how to use Keylock....

Actually, you should check under the Menu/Settings/Phone Settings option
to see if you have Automatic Keyguard... (it's the second option there on
my 3595) You can have the keys lock automatically after a set time. Saves
you the trouble of remembering to do that. You still unlock them the same
way: Menu/*
