cell phone signal improver cannot work

Anyone claiming to boost or improve your cell phone signal by adding on a
plastic sticker is a total liar. These metalized stickers are usually
placed in a shielded area where no signal can penetrate.

Also anyone claiming to shield you from RF radiation is like wise a liar.
These useless stickers are placed on the opposite side of built in antennas
where no RF penetrates. Whip antennas rise above this area where the so
called "shield" is not in the RF path.

Phones are set at a safe RF maximum power per SAR.

In regards to a broken phone antenna.

If you break off or damage the original equipment antenna, what is left
will function at a reduced performance level.

The phone will compensate by boosting the receive gain and boosting the
transmit power in order to maintain contact with the cell site. If you are
close to a cell tower you may not notice a difference. At cell fringes you
will drop calls.

The added negatives are reduced talk time and added stress to the transmit
RF components which will lead to probable failure of the RF final due to
reflected power back into the transmitter.

Get it fixed soon.
