I've just had a firmware update to my 6310i and lost the Java apps
(World Clock etc.) as a result, so was doing a search on Google's group archives to see if anyone knew how to get them back. Came across this start to a small thread:- >Following a firmware upgrade, the World Clock and Racket java apps on >my 6310i both would not work (message: Unable to open application). > >I thought that these apps were on the software disk that came with the >phone, but they are not. I erased World Clock and Racket and would >like to re-load them. > >Is there anywhere I can get these Nokia apps? the responses to which didn't seem very helpful. Needing the answer myself I rang Club Nokia and now have the apps. restored; here's how if anyone still needs to know. Dead simple. Connect your phone to http://www.softwaremarket.nokia.com/wap This opens a page "Personalise your Nokia 6310i". The apps you can d/l free to your phone are then listed below - just select the one(s) you want and confirm to d/l and install. The list is: Converter World Clock Racket Game World Clock (Asian Version) Miki's World 1 Leaderboard Hope this helps! |
