[Cross-posted to uk.telecom.voip, follow up set to that group]
In message <b53ge.1360313$35.50835512@news4.tin.it>, Robert <robert@none.com> writes >hi all, what's the cheapst VoIP provider for calling EU, USA, and CHina >with a monthly flat rate? The question is probably best taken to uk.telecom.voip. You could look at BroadVoice (either Unlimited World or Unlimited World Plus depending on which countries you need). Billing will be in US dollars and your primary number will be a US one (that suits me). You can have a UK incoming number added to your account for an additional small charge. Don't forget to add the dreaded $1.50 Regulatory Recovery Fee and 3% tax to your bill. Unlimited World with one alternate number comes out as $24.14 IIRC - about GBP13.20 by the time it hits your credit card. Dialling is US style, but you can fix that up easily using the dial plan feature of a Sipura adapter. There's no problem signing up from abroad - you will need to Bring Your Own Device. They bill your credit card directly. Reliability has been terrible this past week, with serious technical problems, but is normally OK. Though it's broken at the moment, 0845 and 0870 calls are inclusive on Unlimited World and Unlimited World Plus (it was a nice feeling having a 98 minute call to HP support billed at 0.00!). I don't tout for referrals, even though they have a referral scheme. Best wishes, David -- David Wood david@wood2.org.uk |
