Hi

I am setting up a home network for friends tomorrow and just want to check
that BT Internet use standard ADSL Modem settings.

Friends are on BT Internet BB, not sure exactly what flavour but have the
following email format

"username@btinternet.com"

Are the setting something like the standard ADSL modem settings i.e.
PPPoA

Vpi: 0

VCI: 38

MTU: 1458

Encapsulation: VC-MUX

Authentication Method: CHAPor do BT Internet use any other fancy
settings?Just do not want to end up calling BT support any staying in a long
queue for such basic information.Tried looking on the BT yahoo site but
nothing relevant could be found. Also did not find the right info in recent
