After getting plenty of advice on this group about who to change my ISP
to, I think the best at the moment looks like F2S, Has anybody signed up with them recently, and if so what are they like? The price looks decent and after NTHell customer service must be better. http://www.freedom2surf.net/adsl/homeuser.php |

I migrated to F2S about 3 weeks ago. I am on there 2Mb Connect 50GB service
(£24.99/month). The migration went smoothly on the day they said it would. I was migrating from a 1Mb product so had to migrate to F2S at 1Mb but they then regraded me to 2Mb for free, again all went smoothly after 5 working days. My experience so far is extremely positive. I have had zero downtime, my speed is constantly around 1890 Kbps and my pings to Jolt are always less than 20ms. Haven't really needed customer service but I was always kept up to date with what was happening and when via email. Sign up, you won't regret it. If you fancy putting me down as your referrer when you sign up my username is pje1979, I would really appreciate it :-) "Lilywhite" <simon.howard@cwcom.net> wrote in message news:3bloslF6ib9feU1@individual.net... > After getting plenty of advice on this group about who to change my ISP > to, I think the best at the moment looks like F2S, Has anybody signed up > with them recently, and if so what are they like? > > The price looks decent and after NTHell customer service must be better. > > http://www.freedom2surf.net/adsl/homeuser.php |

I'd advise you to weigh up the 'Home User' packages against the 'Specialist User' packages, as these have no monthly download limits. I'd also advise you to mail support@freedom2surf.net with a list of any newsgroups that may be missing from news.freedom2surf.net . They will be quite happy to add them to the server, but are only adding new newsgroups as per demand. I've had no problems with their feed, so it should be a pretty faultless text server once everyone has requested the newsgroups they wish to use. |
