I've got an Asus WL-500g wireless router that I've been using as a WAP.
I recently bought a SpeedTouch 530 modem / router with the aim upgrade to a more expensive model with a built-in SPI firewall. Is there any reason why I can't use the SpeedTouch as just a modem, and plug it into the Asus, which I now realise has an SPI firewall after a firmware update. -- Nigel M "Time may be a great healer, but he's a lousy beautician" |
