JoshIII responds:
Yes, just call customer service and tell them you never had option to add the promotion code when adding your minutes. Don't raise your voice or get angry. They should give you the free minutes if the promotion code is still valid. If you added the card using the 1-800 toll free number, then you should have just added the promotion code at the end of the airtime pin number. If you have a newer TracFone, just use the "Prepaid" menu option on the phone's display for adding airtime. Be sure to add the promotion code after entering the card's airtime pin. Are you sure the promotion code is still valid? No way to know if your promotion code is still valid other than entering the code in your favorite Internet Explorer search engine and reading what others have to say about the promotion codes. If all else fails, just tell customer service (JoshIII) from Usenet newsgroups suggested you call. That will get you prompt service. ![]() Note: Last coment is intended to feed "the troll" and all other TracFone haters in alt.cellular. Hope this helps! thanks. Can you give me a number that lets me talk to a person? I tried the number on the card and there was NEVER an option to talk to a person. TracFone Customer Service: 1-800-867-7183 Choose Options: "Technicl problems with your TracFone" then "All other problems" For example: First press 1 - for "In English", then Press 4 - for "Technical Problems (Info)", then Press 5 - for "All other tech probs" Make sure you call between hours of 8am-8pm EST. Note: You don't have to use your TracFone when calling customer service. Have your TracFone turned on when you call, and know your ESN or IMEI. They tend to go real slow for issues like this. They have to get approval of the supervisor's supervisior when re-assigning minutes, and there is a special department they have to transfer you to for promotions. So plan to be patient when you make the call. Count on it taking at least 30 minutes total including a 15 min wait time. Also, if you don't know the PIN of the card you added, forget it! If you have already discarded the 120 minute airtime card you used, calling customer service about missed promotional minutes will be futile. Hope this helps! JoshIII josh3i at hotmail . com Don't forget to say "Hi!" (for me) when calling TracFone customer service! -just feeding "the troll" and other TracFone haters in this newsgroup 0:-) "valvejob" <me@privacy.net> wrote in message news:2hdue3tft38lqngb47pphrn88f7am4mh8a@4ax.com... > > thanks. > > Can you give me a number that lets me talk to a person?
