There are test groups galore for posting test messages in if all you want is to check that your settings get the result you intended, or that you can post at all. I once had a *very* obscure configuration problem which left me able to post to around half the groups I was actually subscribed to on a somewhat random basis. Posting only to test groups would have proved nothing. Ivor |
