Default Fooling a 6310i it is connected to a car kit

I use a 6310i in my car with a holder, cigarette lighter charger and a
Bluetooth headset. All is fine except there seems to be no way to keep the
phone lights on. Does anyone know of a shop bought or homebrew connector to
place on the bottom of the phone to spoof connection to a pukka car kit?

I'm sure it has something to do with a car kit connector, but have you
also considered that if you have the light on constantly that your
battery sill surely be discharged a lot quicker than if you let the
light turn itself off after a few seconds.

Hi,

I have a real car kit and the light goes off when i am not using the phone.
It seems that the same timeout is used as if it were not plugged into the
car kit.

Mike.
