Default 6600 Ringtones too quiet

Hi,
Anyone think that the ringtones on the 6600 are really quiet? Even with the
volume turned up full I think they are pretty poor.
Any tips for how to make midi files louder when you transfer them to the
phone?
TIA

the midi specification includes volume data from 0 to 127, you can set all
the sounds to max volume in a music sequencer like Cubase, whether or not
the phone actually uses that data I don't know, ie the phone may simply
ignore it.

Some songs i've used are noticibly quieter than others .. and seem to be
arouynd the same pitch set .. so I'd say it does pay attention to it ..
