When you text a premium e.g. 8xxxx number, you usually pay the standard 10p t-mobile charge plus any charge the recipient may add. This is how some music TV channels are funded, but there are also some nasty scams out there that intice you to reply to a innocent looking text message and you get stiffed £1 -£2 per message. If you got charged 85p to send a text to a 079x xxxxxxx number then that is something you should call 150 about (if you can get through). |
