How can this be abuse?
Every group it went to is relevant, and can be used in conjunction with an IPAQ. Nokia Phones and Bluetooth adaptors are widely used with IPAQ's. But I guess some people like yourself have so little to do with there lives, that they feel that complaining is important. ....as it happens, I think it's quite funny cos it's not my sale, It is just one that I saw on eBay and thought I would share it with other newsgroups readers as I thought it was a potential bargain. So - no skin of my nose! Sorry to the genuine person making the sale thought that some kangaroo lover felt the need to moan. By extension of your logic, a set of screwdrivers would be relevant because they potentially could be used to dismantle a Nokia phone. > > But I guess some people like yourself have so little to do with there lives, > that they feel that complaining is important. Yeah, right, of course you did. BTW, please don't top-post. -- >>> Unlock Your Phone's Potential <<< >>> http://www.thephonelocker.co.uk <<< >>> http://www.uselessinfo.org.uk <<< |

Fair enough, I didnt know eBay didn't like this. Not many people read through all the "small print", probably cos many people use computers/internet to enhance there life, instead of others who computers/internet cos its the only life they have. > > > > > Every group it went to is relevant, and can be used in conjunction with an > > IPAQ. > > Rubbish. Tell me which group wasn't? In order to expand an IPAQ to enable it to be used with all its feature, Mobiles etc are a major part of this. And as these groups are used by these people, surely that is the best place to highlight this. > > > > > Nokia Phones and Bluetooth adaptors are widely used with IPAQ's. > > So what? But to those people who, in this case, where looking for an IPAQ, I'm sure they were glad to here. > > > > ...as it happens, I think it's quite funny cos it's not my sale, It is > just > > one that I saw on eBay and thought I would share it with other newsgroups > > readers as I thought it was a potential bargain. > > Yeah, right, of course you did. I bought my IPAQ from eBay late last year, a newer model than the one advertised. This is just one that I spotted which has a full setup. If I spot anything else there that I think is relevant I will also post. > > BTW, please don't top-post. > BTW, try talking to different levels of internet user. I'm sure there are many new people looking at Newsgroups that don't know words such as "Top Post". Got to go now. Here's a few dirty words to get you all excited and turned on. Processor, Gigabyte, Pentium. ..... And as > these groups are used by these people, surely that is the best place to > highlight this. No it's not. Altough adverts aren't prohibited in the charter of ACN, they are at the very least frowned upon. If you want to post adverts, post them to an adverts newsgroup. Many people read the cellular groups on cellular devices and have to pay for every byte they download. If everyone took your approach, the group would be full of bandwidth wasting adverts. Have some courtesy for other people. <snip> > > So what? And you'd get shouted down the minute you tried if the group wasn't set-up for adverts. At the end of the day, the Ipaq has absolutely nothing to do with Nokia mobile phones. <snip> > > And some people would rather clutter the group up and waste bandwidth > > spamming their auctions. > > > > Well it would be an ideal world if the only things listed in a newsgroup > where the exact things we all wanted, but peoples needs and wants vary. And that's exactly why newsgroups are set up relating to the wants and needs of the people who set them up and use them regularly. Again, this is not an appropriate place to spam your junk. > > But to those people who, in this case, where looking for an IPAQ, I'm sure > they were glad to here. Most people looking for an Ipaq would have the brains to look in either an Ipaq newsgroup, Ebay, or online shop. Again, what has an Ipaq got to do with Nokia mobile phones? <snip> > I bought my IPAQ from eBay late last year, a newer model than the one > advertised. So you'll incur more and more abuse reports until your ISP finally gets sick of receiving them and does something about it like terminating your account. Have some manners for the other users of the group and you may earn a little respect someday. > > > > > BTW, please don't top-post. > > > > BTW, try talking to different levels of internet user.
