Customer Service should be able to do it. They will assign the new
phone's ESN to the old telephone number and remove the relationship
to the old phone's ESN. You would then have to manually program the
telephone number into the new phone's NAM. You may also have to set
the network as directed by Central Intelligence. You have thirty
days to protect your old number from reassignment.
